MY BOOK REVIEW!!!

Today we decided to blog our book review which we have been working on for 2 weeks or more so I hope you enjoy plus our book review is about the Duffy books we got in Term 3 and then had task to do on the slide show!

What I learned? I learned that reading a book is like an adventure and that adventure is always out there  no matter what type of book it is it is still adventure!

The Online Board Game

For Cyber Smart today we had to do  online board game with a random number generator as a dice. When we landed on something we had to click it then it would take is to a site where we had to do a task about using then internet safely and some of them just for fun like the one below then put in our drive.

I chose this task to blog: This is a before or after. We had to use be funky and take a photo and then put in in the before. Then you had to change the photo and make it look different! The difference is that  I just gave him glasses and an ugly mustache!

Does being different really effect your life

How far have some students travelled in their lifetime to reach WPS?

For Aaron - Devesh to get to New Zealand it will take him 2050 kilometres to get there from Figi , For Taha to get to New Zealand from Fiji it will take 2091 kilometres

Why do people make the choice to move to different countries?

Because they might have a problem with their home country or something terrible might be happening to their child at school so they want a better education?

Is this a trend in NZ society? What does the media tell us?

Every year 60,000 immigrants come to New Zealand to have a better life

This video is about how other people accuse them of there race and family and where they come from but the students also describe on how they are like you and how they have a reason to not be accused of their race. I felt really emotional when I watch this as it talked about how they get bullied of their race and it is really emotional!

My Time At MOTAT

One Tuesday on the first week of term 4 we went to MOTAT and it was awesome! After we went to MOTAT we needed to write a recount about it!

“Have you ever been to MOTAT like ever! No? Is it because you think its boring? YES!?!?! Well i'm going to prove you wrong and show you how awesome it can be!

It was on a sunny tuesday and we were at the entrance, all of the senior classes and teachers at motat and a few parents. I was so excited even though this would be like my what? Like 5th time there but I knew it was going to be fun!

The instructors were there telling us what to do and how to behave! I thought it was easy to follow the rules but I just going to tell you about the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition because I think it will be enough to make you come to MOTAT!

The exhibition was so awesome also did you know Leonardo Da Vinci was also the start of I think like cars and all of the other cool modern stuff we have today!  He made a automatic hammer and lots of stuff with that you have to spin to work there really awesome plus there was a video talking about Da Vinci but I didn’t look at it. After the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition We went to  play with toys with the instructors! I would say this was my favourite  by far! We played with the Jacobs ladder and it was fun.

After that awesome experience we went to have lunch and I could say that I played for then eat. We sat down with my friends then we and then my mum took me to the exhibition  one which was SUPER FUN!!!!! There were ipad games, jetpacks and other awesome machines!

I think this will be enough to convince you to come to awesome MOTAT but remember that there is still like 50 others awesome stuff there like the laser maze! Go check out MOTAT you won’t regret going ever!

Cyber smart online scenario

In our cyber smart session, we have been learning about scenario

If this happened to me, here is what I would do?

- If I replied back, I would say something like "why are you swearing at me, it is just a game? This is how the game works!"

- If I had the chance to say something nasty back, would you do it? I had a chance to say something nasty I wouldn't say something nasty because it could make the person feel abused even though they are making me feel abused and they could be having a bad day.

- How would you react if some one did this to you? My reaction would be that they might having a bad day and  that i'm really annoyed from that and t I want to say to him some nasty back to him.

In Term two we went to Muriwai Bush Camp. We had so much fun it was unbelievable ! This is my friend Jerry at the confidence course  doing the balance pole ( I don't know what it is called ) I  had a blast at doing it as well just like Jerry. Then it started to rain  so we went inside for food and cocoa! Finally we had to go back to our cabins to get ready for dinner.

1. What sites do I spend most time on? Why? - I spend most of my time after school on game. Why? Because games amuse me!
2. Why does the word google come up so much when we look thought my history? Because lots of stuff includes google and always says google at the top in the search bar! Check it out if you want 

3. Do you think it would be different if you did this activity on a weekend? WHY? 

Yes because in the weekend I don't go on my Chromebook much in the weekend because I go on the Pc, and I am not use to homework or something like that in the weekend
